Bentonite SUPER-GEL is a high-yield, 200 mesh sodium bentonite with a special dry polymer additive that mainly used in trenchless industry with very high viscosity. It is used as a primary filter-cake-building, filtration-control and suspension agent in freshwater systems, and has application in all water-base mud systems.

Drilling Polymer CHP

Drilling Polymer CHP

Drilling Polymer CHP (powder form) is a readily dispersible polymer additive designed to provide shale stabilization in freshwater to saltwater drilling fluids ranging from low solids muds. CHP acts as a viscosifier, friction reducer, while also providing some fluid-loss control. Drilling Polymer CHP forms a protective polymer film on the drill pipe and bit as well as on the walls of the bore hole which helps to provide lubrication when drilling in troublesome formations. It is ideally suited for use in horizontal directional drilling, water well, mining, and tunneling applications.

CALGON

CALGON

CALGON(Sodium hexametaphosphate), Is one of the most widely used water treatment agent, is necessary for industrial water, domestic water and waste water disposal. It is soluble in water, the aqueous solution is alkaline and the PH value of 1% aqueous solution is 9.7. It can be gradually hydrolyzed into phosphite in water, which makes it have a good ability of complexing metal ions, which can be complexed with calcium, magnesium, iron and some other metal ions to form a soluble complex. It is only used to overcome the res water phenomenon previously, and has been slowly developed to be used in many other fields, such as, water treatment, food processing, mining, drilling, printing and dyeing, refractories industries.

Sodium hexametaphosphate uses in water treatment includes water for dye production, titanium dioxide production, water for printing and dyeing, water for color film copy cleaning, water for chemical industry, water softener for pharmaceutical and reagent production and water treatment agents for industrial circulating cooling water. It can also be used as corrosion inhibitor, flotation agent, dispersing agent, high temperature binder, dyeing aid, etc… Also applied to the surface treatment, such as, antirust agent, detergent additive, cement hardening accelerator, pulp diffuser to increase permeability, as well as wash utensils and chemical fibers to remove iron ions in the pulp. In the petroleum industry, it is used to prevent the rust of drill pipes and control the viscosity of mud during the oil drilling process.

CES provides weighting agents to impart density to all water base and invert-emulsion drilling fluids. Weighting agents are used to control formation pressures, prevent formation caving and facilitate the pulling of dry pipe.

Thinners are specially formulated and chemically modified compounds of lignite or lignin. It controls rheology and fluid loss, extends temperature limits, emulsifies oil, reduces flocculation and stabilizes water base drilling fluids. It finds application in fresh water and sea water systems. It provides a thin, thick wall cake accompanied with low fluid loss.

These additives are amine based shale inhibitors which are formulated to stabilize reactive shales & clays while drilling with water based drilling fluids. These products are highly effective in inhibiting clay swelling and hydration of cuttings, preventing bit balling and reducing torque and drag.

These lubricants are the special type of additives when mixed in drilling fluids, impart lubricating properties into metal & metal to borehole contacts under extreme pressure conditions. Pipe Freeing Agents

Pipe Freeing Agents

These additives are specifically designed to assist in freeing stuck pipes. It lubricates and dehydrates filter cake from water- based fluids to aid in creating cracks in the mud cake to help alleviate differentially stuck drill pipes.

These additives are specialty surfactants used in formulation of spacers used before cementing of oil wells drilled with oil based muds. It is designed to clean up and displace oil and synthetic based muds and solids for better cementation.

Defoamers

An effective way to disrupt foam formation is to introduce a foam control surfactant into the system. A defoamer or antifoam functions by spreading over the gas/ liquid interfaces, thereby preventing foam forming materials from coming to the surface and providing a surface layer which will not sustain foam

Emulsifiers for Oil Based Mud

Emulsifiers for Oil Based Mud

PRIMARY EMULISIFIER
These additives are used to produce a highly stable invert emulsion fluid with excellent emulsion stability.

SECONDARY EMULISIFIER
These additives are multi-functional which provide higher stability to primary emulsifier &imparts preferential wetting of solids by the continuous oil phase.

EMULISIFIER
It provides good and stable emulsification imparts sufficient oil wetting characteristics of solids and high tolerance for contaminants. The product also works well with all of the commonly used internal phase salt solutions.
